I dont understand this at all, I usually do not agree with elizabeth, but I have to on this issue! How can black peole say that they want to be equal and have equal rights, but they use "we" all the time secluding themselves. I am a beliver that we are all equal and god created us equal. This word is dirty. How come when a white person says it, they have to go on a tour and apoligize over and over again, but black people use it in the same way and its "okay" because of the color of their skin. I don't agree with Whoopi or the other woman. I'm black, and in my family, we were not allowed to say that word at all when we were growing up, and I won't allow my kids to, either. Elizabeth was actually making some good points. I also thought it was funny that they said it's okay to use that word privately. The word should be stricken from everyone's vocabulary.
