Even without much promotion and a new time slot, Wednesday night's Project Runway premiere was on par with last season's premiere episode.

2.9 million people tuned in to see the new contestants compete in their first challenge (they brought back the grocery store challenge!).

Looks like Runway is as strong as ever!

This must make the folks at Bravo extra sad/mad that they're losing the show to Lifetime next season.

      WELL IM CERTAINLY NOT FOLLOWING THE SHOW TO LIFETIME!!!

      i found it a little unoriginal that they would reuse that idea, plus the show started without DESIGNER INTROS!! its so sad, seems like bravo is bitter about the last season thus half-assing everything!!!!

      but once that show moves to LIFETIME, im done watching it. im not down with watching PROJECT RUNWAY with ARMY WIVES previews. boo on that femme nazi battered-woman channel!

      Love the show! I was psyched to see the grocery store challenge back. I did love the blue cup dress, but it wasn't my favorite. Daniel seems familiar, was he on during another season? Or does he just remind me of another contestent?

      just saw rami from last season get a bottle thrown over his head for nooooo reason what so ever at " The Abby" I twas so sad the po po came, ambulance etc… the guy that hit him over the head was jealous bcuz he thought he was hitting on his man.

      Love Tim Gunn, Love Heidi Klum, love this show. I actually hated it when it first started and really hated Season 3. A bunch of idiots. But then Season I really watched wholeheartedly and loved it and will watch all of Season 5. There is something about the chemistry of the whole show. It's great now! Don't change a thing.

      I love PR. But did anyone else think the contestants seem to be reincarnations of past contestants? And the grocery store was been there/done that boring. Maybe Lifetime will have a fresh idea or two and contestants we don't already know.

      I'm concerned that the quality of the show will suffer when it goes to Lifetime. The producers and people at Bravo who worked on the show from a technical standpoint have a LOT of experience with reality TV. Bravo has a lot of experience with reality TV. Lifetime doesn't. I am extremely concerned that the show will suffer as a result.

      I'm glad coffee filter girl won. I thought she did the best job by far! I thought what sucked was that so many people used TABLECLOTHS to make their dresses. They should have been disqualified. Also the one who landed in the top three with a tablecloth and a last-minute piece-of-shit organic wreath thrown around her head looked like sh*T. Don't know how the judges let her in, nor why they didn't give a harder time to the contestants who used tablecloths.

      I like the show less and less every season.

      It seems the producers go out of their way to find the loudest, most obnoxious, *flamiest* gays possible. Enough already - it's getting hard to relate, much less like them.

      i have no CLUE wtf anyone watches the show? it's the same shiz recycled over and over. same as TRW on MTV. I loved the NYC (first ) season and then maybe Seattle was good or the one w/the girl who had an abortion (Cali) - the one in Hollywood this year has been silly/boring. I really think all the reality stuff has gone full circle and I predict reality (using the term loosely) will die down BIG TIME. It is all fake: LOOK AT THE END OF EVERY REALITY TV PROGRAMME AND YOU'LL SEE "PRODUCER" AND "EXEC PROD" … duh.

      I love this show!! I'm always dying to see what they create. My one complaint–I wish they would show the outfits in a little more depth and for longer. Some of them are so creative, and you barely see them!!

      I think the show going to Lifetime is a bad idea.
      Lifetime will ruin it.
      Just sayin' it won't have the panache of Bravo.
      I just hope the money they're getting from that network (for the next 2 seasons before it goes in the shitter) is worth more than what they'd get off of mulitple seasons on Bravo.
