Talk about bad luck.
Veteran Hollywood actress Debbie Reynolds has just lost her 75-foot boat.
The ship sunk near Jacksonville, FL in the St. Johns River.
Apparently, there was severe deterioration on the side of the boat which created a large enough hole to sink it in about 10 minutes.
Reynolds had paid $350,000 for her boat, The Jean Marie.
The boat also contained about $100,000 worth of valuable antiques when it sank last week.
It had to be removed by a crane this Wednesday from the river.
Thankfully everyone is ok.
Debbie's gonna have to hit the casino circuit hard to get a new boat!

The correct name of the vessel is the Jean Mary (not Jean Marie).
Most people with that kind of money are self insured and only purchase liability insurance. I doubt she had it insured. (Especially if she didn't even have it inspected!)
