Khloe Kardashian was released from jail on Friday afternoon.
She had checked in earlier that day.
The drunk driving sister was originally sentenced to 30 days in the slammer.
She barely spent THREE hours there. 173 minutes was the exact time Khloe spent locked up.
Celebrity justice, gotta love it!
The official word from the L.A. Sheriff's department, though, is that Khloe was released because female inmates are eligible for early release due to overcrowding. Apparently, there's only one female jail in Los Angeles and it's "busting at the seams."
So, if you're a lady criminal, L.A. is the city to come and do your damage. The consequences aren't that bad!

Why are any of you surprised? You know the LA County jail is overwhelmed and non-violent crimes (which, yes, is what a DUI is) are not given priority. This was her first offense, she was only set to serve thirty days, so yeah, she was there three hours. Had her sentence been a few months, she'd probably only serve a few weeks. I do hope she learned her lesson, but if I was a taxpayer in LA, I don't know if I'd want to pay to house and feed her for a month. Oh, and be aware that in my state, PA, if she gets nabbed again, the penalties would be much more severe. JMO

I have read about so many celebs getting busted for expired registration, no license, all kinds of shit…and when that happened to me they took my car and left my ass on the cold ass streets of Hollywood. My idiot brother got busted for a DUI in Los Angeles, he was sentanced to 30 days and served about 6 hours in a holding cell while they processed him, then let him go. Im sure he didn't learn his lesson either!

Everyone seems to be so hung up on the time served issues, it doesn't matter is you serve three years, three weeks or three mintues, once you've served any time in jail … you have a criminal record that shows you've been in the slammer and that concequences of that will haunt you for the rest of your life, for instance everytime you try to get a visa to go overseas on holiday, lots of countries just wont let you in if you've been to jail. Applying for jobs, you can kiss goodbye practically any job that requires a security check … who's going to hire someone who's been in prison??
