Sources say things on The Who reunion tour aren't going well.
Frontman Roger Daltrey and guitarist Pete Townshend are supposedly not getting along.
Amongst other beef between the two, Townshend supposedly wants to try out some of the new stuff he's written on the road, whereas Daltrey thinks they should stick to the classics.
But, with the tour expected to make $100 million, anything and everything's being done to keep it together. Here's how they're doing it:
- The two rockers must have separate dressing rooms on opposite ends of the hallway.
- There will be no conversation between the two of them either before or after performances. "They will basically show up, play, and leave," reveals the insider.
- They must have separate travel arrangements, separate hotel accommodations, as well as separate staffing.

A friend of ours reports that the The Who ended their VH1 Rock Honors performance a little weird on Saturday.
After the last song, while Roger Daltrey was saying 'thank you' to the crowd, Pete Townshend hurriedly walked off stage.
When Daltrey realized he was on stage sans Townshend, he shrugged his shoulders to the crowd before scurrying off.
Now it's coming together.

I'm sorry, I was a big Who fan for years but this is not The Who. Without Moon and Entwistle, it is Townshend/Daltrey. They need to retire already. In fact, they should have retired the day after Keith Moon died. They haven't been the same sense. I've seen them twice but you couldn't pay me to see them now. Talk about depressing.

First, it's Roger DaltrEy. That 'e' is very important you know. Second, if you played with the same bloke since you were about 17 and you are now in your 60s you'd both get sick of each other. Third, they've always had beef. That's nothing new. Fourth, Townsend likely walked off because he said his piece and their time was up. Roger went in to say something and realized Pete already left. The Who, along with Led Zeppelin, are among the greatest bands of all time and they don't make music like that anymore.

This is really a shame. Noone can say for sure what their relationship status is except for THEM but that goes for ANY celeb gossip, but, I think that they should try to put their differences aside for the tour if there are any differences. If not for their friendship, do it for their devoted fans. People WANT to see them being bestest, not having problems. There is just too much history there. Too many good memories. =(

I basically toured with that band in 2006, got to hang out with the band a few times (time of my life!) and it's really no secret that Pete and Roger don't get along. Basically, it's like they're brothers who can't stand each other at times. When they toured in 2006 they flew in different planes… I mean talk about extreme.
