The TV gods have heard our prayers (and she has come to our senses).
Shannen Doherty is 100% confirmed to return to the new 90210 (2.0).
Yay!!!!!!!!!
According to the CW, Brenda is now a famous director who's invited back to stage a musical at her alma mater, the network said Saturday.
In the original series, Doherty's character was last seen bound for London to study acting.
She became a "successful theater actress, splitting her time between London and New York," a CW release explained.
She then found equal success as a theater director — and her old school asks her to return as a guest director.
This sounds good and all BUT it doesn't sound like they're giving her much to work with.
How can they sustain her role like that????
Fucking Kelly Taylor is the school's guidance counselor - she has a real reason to be there for many seasons!
They better not let Brenda go after a few episodes!!!!!!

Well I grew up watching 90210 and loved it…From what I have read on other sites about the new show..
Kelly Taylor (Jennie Garth) will be back, Jason Priestly (Brandon Walsh) will be behind the screen as a director, Tori Spelling (Donna Martin) will not be coming back, Luke Perry (Dylan) won't be back, Ian Ziering (Steve) no clue, the actor that owned the Peach Pit will be back and from what I read about Shannen Doherty (Brenda Walsh) she is doing a guest appearance as a director for acting..She best be back longer than that if you ask me…
