It's Official - Brenda's Back!
The TV gods have heard our prayers (and she has come to our senses).
Shannen Doherty is 100% confirmed to return to the new 90210 (2.0).
Yay!!!!!!!!!
According to the CW, Brenda is now a famous director who's invited back to stage a musical at her alma mater, the network said Saturday.
In the original series, Doherty's character was last seen bound for London to study acting.
She became a "successful theater actress, splitting her time between London and New York," a CW release explained.
She then found equal success as a theater director — and her old school asks her to return as a guest director.
This sounds good and all BUT it doesn't sound like they're giving her much to work with.
How can they sustain her role like that????
Fucking Kelly Taylor is the school's guidance counselor - she has a real reason to be there for many seasons!
They better not let Brenda go after a few episodes!!!!!!

I'm sorry, but I don't think she is needed at all. She was only on the show for 3 seasons and the show didn't really start getting good until she left. If they wanted to bring anyone back it could have been Valerie Malone (Tiffany Thiesan). I couldn't care less for Brenda.

first of all karl, i'd luv 2 know wut kinda career u hav! these people make way more money than u! And second, she wasn't as eager 2 return as u think. She demanded more money than she was being offered and she wanted 2 know her character's story. Also, Shannen hadn't been planning 2 return until like a million people voted 4 her to return. Lets face it the reason they gave her a role like that is because she never last on a show more than a few seasons…apparently she is very hard to work with and she either gets booted off or quits it happened with that show Charmed too… This way if things dont work out it will be easy to write her off the show…Im happy that she will be on the show it wouldnt be 90210 without Brenda, however im mad that Luke Perry wont be back I bet he deciced to not come back at first I think he wants to wait and see if the show will be a hit and if it is I bet Dylan will be showing up in season 2
