Crocs vs. Skechers: It's War!

Women's Wear Daily reports that Crocs is suing Skechers for 'stealing' their designs and logos.
Meow!
Skechers responded to the allegations in a statement issued by their lawyer, saying, "We believe that this lawsuit is completely without merit and will vigorously defend ourselves against such baseless accusations."
Crocs are pictured to the left and one of the Skechers designs named in the lawsuit is pictured on right.

I think that's funny. Airwalk makes the same ones also, and lot's of other generic companys. I think they are just going after Skechers because they have the money and other's dont.

Designs are not copyrightable - you are totally allowed to copy ppl's designs. That is why we have Designer Imposter's perfume and knowck offs in Discount stores

I like the skechers. They are the most comfortable, and I can buy at a much lower price! Maybe they also need to sue WalMart and other company's that supply to the low income folks. I got my grandson's at WalMart after spending a fortune at another local shoe store. They look the same, yet WalMart's made a world of difference in price!

I think that Crocs are extremely ugly and I have no idea why anyone would wear or buy them.. also Sketchers shouldn't have copied Crocs because it is a really ugly shoe and nobody will want a rip off even if they did like Crocs..
