I work at a retail store in harvard square and a couple of months ago, leo came in looking for his mother. when he came up the stairs to my department he looked at me and saw that I immediately recognized him. I greeted him like I do with every other customer with "hi, how are you today?" and he shushed me and said "I'm on the phone with my ma" and proceeded to walk around the store (a ladies' underwear dept., by the way) asking her where she was on his crackberry. he kept walking around looking for her (and our dept is tiny) and I asked him if he needed help finding anything (like I don't know.. his mom?) and he held up his hand as if to say "hush!" not gonna lie I thought it was pretty awesome. was he a douche? maybe. was I an overexcited fan that was trying to do my job? maybe. do I still think he's awesome? absolutely!

I AM VERY MAD i followed Leo into the bathroom at a cahrity event last month and while he took an enormous shit I climbed over the stall and almost fell on him(but I didn't) as he shouted and pulled his pants up all I did was request an autograph,photo and a sample of his feces. There are differences between no talent whores like Nicole Ritchie, Mischa Barton, Heidi/Spencer, etc that crave the attention to the point where they have their PR person actually ALERT the paps to show up at stores/cafes/etc just to "happen" to "catch" them coming out. They have no talent and are true publicity whores.
People like Leo who have some talent, well I don't need to see him exiting a store or resturaunt (I know I spelled that wrong) in order for me to go "hmmm I should check out his new movie". I RARELY agree with you on anything but I certainly do on this one. I DESPISE celebs who make a big deal out of having their photo taken. I will not support ANYTHING they do when they act like this. I put them on a permanent "ignore" list and I never take them off. Doesn't bother me in the least.
