Chubby chasers take note!
Seth Rogan stars in Kevin Smith's newest movie, titled Zack and Miri Make a Porno.
The movie has been hit by an NC-17 rating by the movie rating board.
NC-17 flicks have a hard time getting into theaters, so Smith is apparently trying to fight the rating.
Hope they don't have to cut too much of the good stuff!
Looks like we'll have to wait ’til the DVD release to see a true director's cut.

Anything that Kevin Smith makes is pure fucking gold. Almost all of his movies initially got the NC-17 rating, and he fought them and got the R ratings in time for premieres. I find it ironic that its ok to show gratuitous violence in the US, but its not ok to show a nipple? I don't care what the rating is, I'll be in line to see it opening day.

Saw this movie as a test audience in Albuquerque, NM.. Kevin Smith, Seth Rogan and a few other people from the movie were there too. It's HILARIOUS! But I'm totally not surprised it's getting an NC-17. It sucks though because I really hope they don't change too much.

They should change the title to something like "Zack and Miri make a blood bath" and the MPAA will change the rating to PG-13. Violence is family friendly. Sexual CONNOTATIONS are naughty and thus NC-17.
They filmed that movie in Pittsburgh i got to be an extra….can't wait to see it!!1

I am disgusted with the MPAA board. They consistently give "R" ratings to the most gory, disturbing, stomach turning films and allow them to be seen by mass audiences without a second thought. Personally, I would rather be inundated with images of sex than violence. There needs to be a serious reworking of the ratings process and the criteria that they follow. And theaters should no shy away from showing NC-17 films. The ratings are a PARENTAL/VIEWER guideline system and theaters should not have to "enforce" these ratings. It is a parents responsibility to monitor their child's viewings. I hope Kevin Smith wins his fight (again!) and doesn't have to change the film too much. It is sad that filmmakers are still in this way being censored from showing their films. I am disgusted that a panel of people has the power to decide whether I get to see a movie in the theater. They need to get over their fear of sex! Or just get some!

I got to see the sneak peak last month and honestly, it wasn't that bad. i think there was one full frontal male shot and that's it and it was only for a split second!! I think it deserves to get an "R" rating at most. Give the guy a chance… it's a hilarious movie!
Probably will get a better rating if they at least take out the anal scenes.
okay so this movie was filmed in the town that I live and as a huge kevin smith fan i can tell you that the movie is about beating debt and bankrupcy and they make porn to sell and get money. it's a freakin' comedy. i can't wait for zac and miri to come out in october. good times
