They're getting a jump start on the new TV season!

The CW has announced that the new 90210 (2.0) will be debuting with a special two hour premiere on September 2nd.

And, for you Gossip Girl fans, the much talked about but barely watched show will return on September 1st.

      this show was cancelled because of bad ratings, meaning the ppl that used to watch it around 1990, got tired of it. and the new young audience isnt familiar with the show.. it will flop

      Gossip Girl IS BETTER! this is just a horrible horrible show trying to capitalize on the originals fame. it honestly looks just plain bad. i hope it flops. CW tends to do that but since OTH and GG hopefully are on the same night, those will stick around and this will disappear.

      .90210 is classic and historic they should leave it alone.Before OC and gossip girl and all these rich kid soaps it was 90210. I do like and think it is funny how they add the "one token black guy" lol. We all know that did not happen in the original. I guess in 6 years they can ruin another american classic show such as "FRIENDS."

      and you think people are going to actually watch the new 90210 apart from maybe the first couple of episodes? gossip girl does get watched, it's redefining how people watch TV and hey maybe the same thing will happen with 90210. Just because you have a hard on for the original series, which was just Arron Spellings attempt on mimicking the formula of a much better Canadian TV show *cough cough Degrassi*, doesn't mean this remark is going to be anything special(except for Shenne Grimmes aka Darcy from Degrassi TNG). The original series even sucked once Shannon Dorhtey left the show.
