Looks like Nick Lachey's weekend was just as bad as Jessica Simpson's.
As we previously reported, the serial vacationer, Lachey, was tapped to host the High School Musical reality series Get in the Picture on ABC.
Well, the reality competition premiered Sunday to a shitty tune.
It came in #3 with just 4 million viewers on Sunday night.
CBS' ancient but still chugging along Big Brother nabbed 5.8 million.
A repeat of America's Got Talent on NBC came in second with 5.3 million.
Are people just sick of High School Musical shizz?
If they had a 'better' host would more peeps have tuned in?????

I watched a little of it and switched back to the Espys…the talent that they were scouting was pretty terrible….Nick didn't have a lot of face time in it. The show featured mostly the talent scouts.

He's a genuinely kind, honest, decent young man with a lot of talent and good looks. He has career, trouble, not because he lacks talent or a fan base but because he makes poor career choices. The album he did while he was married to Jessica was extremely cheesy and it cheapened him. Some people are STILL having trouble taking him seriously after that first "Shut Up" video he did. Cheesetastic. But Nick is a great singer/songwriter and he has a personality that people really love. If he finds the right vehicle, he will be unstoppable. He's one of the few decent human beings left in Hollywood so I think you, Perez, are an asswipe for ragging on him. Just how much does Joe Simpson pay you to trash Nick? Nick seems to be a smart guy but as he has said he doesn't like the limelight so thats why you don't see him much. I know he loves sports and I heard he is doing a lot with that so Nick good luck with the sports thing but I think you need to and you should make another album. I saw Nick in concert when he came to Dallas last year, he was good but I'm a HUGE fan of JESSICA SIMPSON, I EVEN GOT TO MEET HER THIS YEAR 2008 here in Dallas.
