Patrick Swayze is doing well!
The actor, diagnosed with pancreatic cancer, told the paparazzi that he was feeling great. And he's getting back to work.
Swayze was spotted at LAX on Sunday, boarding a plane for Chicago, where he will begin filming his new TV show.
Keep up that healthy attitude, Patrick!

Basically I had no opinion on Patrick Swayze, Dirty Dancing - whatevs, Bohdi/Point Break - whatevs, Roadhouse - whatevs.
But I recently watched a pretty bad pseudo-medieval fairly big budget film with Swayze as the villlan (it was called George & the Dragon) and I heard Swayze talking about himself in the extras. The guy is clearly a Texan ego-maniac with little to back up his thin acting skills. he thinks he is some kind of Shakespearan actor, but his terrible british accent came & went as the scenes changed….he thinks a hell of A LOT of himself.
If he really has pancreatic cancer then he will soon start looking like a cancer patient, bald head, no eyebrows/eyelashes and emaciated & weak soon enough.
Sucks to be him. But his acting SUCKS.

I think it's fuct up, just because he's a famous actor, he got some special treatment for his cancer. When my best friend's Dad, had to struggle and painfully die recently from this horrible disease!It's ridiculous how famous people get all this special treatment and get WAY over paid, when there are other people in life who need these treatments just as bad!!
wow, I'm amazed that he is going back to work. Typically the prognosis for pancreatic cancer in smokers is less than a year after it's been diagnosed depending on the stage so lets just hope that he is an exception.
Re: sara – The sweatshirt vest is a throwback to dancer's warm ups to keep the muscles warm between numbers. Swayze was a dancer, first. So was his wife. Maybe he gets cold. Maybe he likes it. Fashion takes a backseat to comfort when you start to wise up.
Great for him but it has eff all to do attitude and everything to do with chemo success and medical expertise. Do not do a bloody Kylie "miracle brave" shitz on public.

I have always had a soft spot for Patrick! He has always seemed to be a down-to-earth, good-hearted person in the Hollywood cesspool, and I am glad to see him looking so cute and smiley in the above pic (though a bit thin!). I will always LOVE that Chippendale's skit from SNL - it still cracks me up! I hope his treatments can help him and at least prolong his life.
