There is no way Showtime would be stupid enough to separate Bette and Tina so that JB would star in a spin-off without Laurel Holloman — It would fall flat on its face. And no other character, save for maybe Alice, can carry the show but Leisha Hailey is more interested in her rock band.

Bette…AND Tina. It can't just be one of them. Save the other stuff for The N. Tom is two fries short of a Happy Meal. No way is Bette the least liked character.

No i don't hope it's going to be a Bette spinoff. She looks nice and all but i can't stand her character in the story. It's probably going to be either Shane or Jenny but I wouldn't mind an Alice spinoff either^^ they should do a movie instead, tho.

The spin-off should be Tibette. They have a HUGE fan base and can tell the stories while representing the gay community, showing a loving marriage, raising children, etc. No one else can make the spin-off a success except Tibette. They are both the core and power couple. Shane? I don't think so. The gay community needs a positive influence and representation on TV, not someone who is terrified of commitment and is not interested in a lasting, committed relationship.

It probably will be helena…they said its only one character, so it's probably not bette and tina. And although a show with shane as the sole main character would be really popular…there's not a whole lot of substance to her character. Not enough to give them a whole spin-off series. Jenny is a possibility, just because that girl is so screwed up that they could go in any direction with her! Alice is another definite possibility because she is a really developed and interesting character…but like everybody has said, her music might come first in this case. Helena might be the most probable character though, just because they set everything up with her going away with her jailbird lover…that could turn into something. Kind of like a "private practice" type spin-off from Grey's. It would be ridiculous if it was Phyllis or Dawn Dem-HO and her ex-lover Cindy lol. No wayyyyy…anyway, whoever it is - I hope its as good as the original L word series! I can't believe its the last season…but it was a good run! Can't wait for this season though…Carmen is back…we have to see if Bette and Tina are serious about another baby…Alice and Tasha…who knows?!?!?

The spinoff should be about her but i don't believe so much in spinoffs bc most of them fail and i don't want Jennifer to be on a failed show. And i don't want Bette to be apart from Tina so… Alice would be the second one on my list.
