Very disturbing report.
Beijing, the home of the 2008 Olympics, appears to be a racist place.
A report claims that bar owners in the 'party' section of Beijing were asked by the government to refuse service to black patrons.
Bar owners near the Workers' Stadium in central Beijing say they have been forced by Public Security Bureau officials to sign pledges agreeing not to let black people enter their premises.
"Uniformed Public Security Bureau officers came into the bar recently and told me not to serve black people or Mongolians," said the co-owner of a western-style bar, who asked not to be named.
WTF?
Does that mean black athletes can't celebrate at a bar with their team mates after years of training and working hard?!
Isn't it great to see that an event that's meant to to unify the world is happening in a place that subscribes to disturbing ideologies?

Beijing was allowed to host the Olympics with the hope that the public attention would force China to straighten up. Since then, it seems like things are only getting worse. Until China stops persecuting groups of people, maybe we should rethink celebrating these games there. It hardly seems appropriate anymore, and I think China has proved that it doesn't deserve this honor.

I was in china recently and it was like theyd never seen a black person. I was in a group with two black girls and all they would do is stare, take pictures of them and even ask to be in pictures with them. It was the same thing with people who had blond hair.

Did anyone see the recent HBO documentary on the abductor/traffickers in China? Unbelievably sad. One couple had to sell their newborn baby girl to a trafficker because they weren't "authorized" to have the child. Other children were just stolen right from their own front yards and sold. The trafficker even sold his own 6 year old son, for which he admitted that he "didn't get much money."
