Christian Bale was arrested in London today in connection with assault charges brought against him by his mother and sister.
The incident apparently occurred in his hotel on Sunday.
The actor is currently being questioned by police.
He has yet to release a statement.
Update:
He has handed himself into police voluntarily over the mysterious domestic feud.
He went to Belgravia police station in central London earlier today and is still there, being held in custody.
When asked if Bale had been arrested, a police spokesman said "A 34-year-old man attended a central London police station this morning by appointment and was arrested in connection with an allegation of assault. He currently remains in custody."
His family is not talking.

Sounds like he was cutting off the cash flow to his mom and sister and they decided to get even. Typical style for people that feel entitled to someone else's money, and that they waited until Monday to report it was so to try and embarass him at his premier. The more telling sign is that the police allowed him to attend - sounds like they don't quite believe the mother or sister, but of course they have to investigate it since a complaint was lodged. Will wait to see what actually happens.

Sounds batty. Mom and Sis reported it before the premiere. What they didn't get tickets and are pissed? Glad the police take in consideration innocent before proven guilty and didn't ruin the premiere. Christian is sure to be overworked and tired. Probably had to push his money grubbing relatives out of the way so her could make the premiere on time. What mom would have her son arrested? i want to see the evidence of this.
