We thought she was on the road to recovery, but it's clearly an ongoing battle for Allegra.
Hopefully she finds her way before something tragic happens!

Hey Perez, my co-worker has worked a Versace for many years and he knows Alegra quite well. She looks 100 times better now than she ever has! So lets give her some credits and not put her down. She is getting well and it's a long process so let give some positive energy in hopes she continues doing well! You can compare older pics to this new one and you will see the improvement! Cheers!

I don't understand anorexics, why dont they just get a hobby like volunteering to helping others instead of worrying about not eating all of the time. She looks dreadful and I give her less than a year to live
I'm sure she has serious internal organ damage. I doubt her body can even process food without making her seriously sick. She's screwed. It's unfortunate, but true.
She seemed to be doing good a couple of months ago but looks like she's back her old habits. Hope she gets some help soon.
she looks much better than she did a few months ago. she's starting to look a little healthy but I agree she has a ways to go yet. Still, she looks much better than she once did and we should applaud her for getting on the road towards recovery.

Do you know anything about eating disorders? Somtimes the person is an idiot and abuses themself to be thin, and other times its a mental problem and they cant help but not eat or they just cant gain weight. We dont know her exact situation.
What I find as disturbing as the way Allegra looks right now is those of you who weigh in on a topic you do not know much about. It's not so simple as just "finding a new hobby" or "throwing her a burger". Anorexia is a very real disease that has as much to do with control as it does the food itself. Don't mouth off about things you do not understand, just because it does not make sense to you.

If she's on the way to recovery, that's wonderful. However, there must be ways to dress that do not focus SO intently on her obviously physical issues. In a dress like this, she's essentially BEGGING to be criticized for being too skinny…aren't there people that can work with her to transition back into normalcy?

My bf's sister has been emaciated for years… seeing a psychologist and nutritionist hasn't helped. They don't necessarily die right away, they can live at an unhealthily low weight. Just like being obese, the effects on your heart and organs will show up down the road. You can sense her anxiety when you sit down to have dinner with her… anorexia is such a sad psychological disease. I feel bad for these girls.

What the hell is wrong with you people saying that she should eat a sandwich..having an eating disorder usually has nothing to do with your weight.. it's a serious problem and telling someone to get a hobby or eat a sandwich is extremely cruel. i've suffered an eating disorder for over 4 years and was hospitalized for two weeks two years ago. i'm doing much better now but it's a daily struggle. And i can say for a fact that when Allegra looks in the mirror she doesn't see what everybody else sees & she has an extremely distorted view of herself and lots of self hate. She most likely has alot of emotional & mental problems and instead of facing her problems she uses the eating disorder to avoid them, so for these people saying she doesn't have a problem and she should get a hobby or eat a sandwich-you should do some research because eating disorders are extremely serious and have a very high death rate. And eating disorder's can be anything from not eating at all, binging and purging, using laxatives, or over excersizing. i would eat normal with my eating disorder but i would excersize like a maniac so regardless of what i ate i wouldn't gain weight.

showing off those skeletal shoulders and collar bones (and I'll bet the view of her shoulder blades is not encouraging, either) underscore that fact that she has body dysmorphia…clearly she's not seeing what she really looks like in the mirror…horrible, and difficult to treat that.
