Christian Bale is back on the promotional trail following the assault accusations leveled against him by his mom and sister.
The actor showed up to the Barcelona premiere of The Dark Knight on Thursday evening.
Christian posed for pictures but bypassed reporters and their pesky questions.
Bale was accompanied by his wife, Sandra 'Sibi' Blazic.
Wifey is said to be at the center of Sunday night's controversy. Christian's mom said some NOT SO NICE things about her.
That really pissed him off!

Every time more information comes out, it seems to be getting clearer that Christian Bale did nothing more than have a very loud argument with 2 family members with whom he is NOT AT ALL close to (and who criticized his wife). Why did they go to the police, if not to make a big drama scene and maybe try for a little hush money? It's looking pretty sneaky to me, and I'm supporting Christian in this one.

I think she's pretty and they really do look alike. A mother should not diss a son's wife and mother of his child. I bet their little girl, Emmaline, is adorable. Any man who loves animals and rescues stray pets is a hero in real life, not just on the screen. The truth will come out behind this "mother" and her accusations.

I honestly don't know very much about him, in fact, before all the press about TDK and this alleged incident, my knowledge of him as a person could fill a thimble. He just seemed to be a fantastic actor who managed to keep his private life private. Good for him, I don't like fame whores, personally. So I won't even try to speculate about what went on with his mother and sister, it's his business until he chooses to make it ours.
One thing I will say though, is that in every recent picture I've seen of him, the poor man is exhausted. The dark circles under his eyes look like bruises, they are that bad. And to be suddenly thrust into the public eye, attending premier after premeir, interviews, fighting his way through the paparazzi, that has to be somewhat of a shock as well. I think that these circumstances would make ANYONE a bit snappish. If the stories about his mother and sister wanting money and saying hurtful things about his wife are true, that's just really rotten on their part. To try and sabotage his London premier and ruin it for him, if I were in his place I don't know if I would be able to handle it with the same restraint as he has. He's probably emotionally overloaded right now, and whatever they did must have been the straw that broke the camels back. I would lash out, too! (If that's truly what he did, we may never know.)

If you go back and look at his previous photos and interviews you will notice a trend with Christian… he always tries to hide his teeth: his smiles are almost always closed mouth and the photos that show teeth are taken while he is speaking or laughing. Check out his media interviews on television. Christian will always end up speaking with a hand over his mouth at some point. It may look like he's being thoughtful however he should say goodbye to the poor orthodontry (that filed his teeth too short) and get some great veneers! G-d knows he has enough money now, plus if Clooney can do it mid career anyone can.
But I digress, the incident involving Christian and his family is very unfortunate and I hope and pray that it will be handled quickly before the ties with his mum n' sis are completely cut.
Dear Mr Bale is also dealing with the loss of his mate Heath. They should have been out on the red carpet laughing it up and enjoying their great success. Unfortunately Heath's superb performance is now being shadowed by a private family feud which got out of hand. It all really saddens me.
