According Forbes magazine, funny man Vince Vaughn has topped a list of Hollywood stars giving studios the best returns on their investments.
Good news for Jennifer Aniston's ex!
Forbes says it compiled the list by looking at a star’s last three films that opened wide before January 1, 2008 and were made in the past five years — and were not animated.
The mag then took half of each film’s box office income and added the first three months of wholesale DVD revenues, subtracted the budget, and used the star’s gross income to work out payback.
That hurts our brain!
Vaughn's films earned $14.73 for every dollar he was paid.
Pretty impressive!
Until recently he wasn’t paid the mega-bucks of other actors and the films he starred in, like Wedding Crashers, had modest budgets but awesome box office returns.
Here's Forbes' list of the top payback stars:

A-listers Matt Damon, Brad Pitt, Julia Roberts and George Clooney reportedly looked good in the list because of their work in Ocean’s Twelve and Ocean’s Thirteen, as they all took pay cuts to appear in the popular movies.

I am so sick of the Brangelina's. This just verifies that everyone else doesn't want to spend as much money watching 2 people for at least 1.5 hours straight when we hear and see them ALL THE FUCKING TIME. Has Jennifer Anniston ever CARRIED a movie or just been the lead girl in a mass ensemble? Angelina has CARRIED Tomb Raider to being the most successful female lead action series ever. Also most of Angelina's movies have a much higher budget to make back than Jennifer's. Hollywood would rather have Angelina in a film because she is a better actress and makes more money.
This list is meaningless without Miley Cyrus, who should be far and away #1.
