We were giving him the benefit of the doubt, but things are not looking good for Christian Bale.
A new report has us reevaluating what we thought we knew of the Batman star.
The actor was on set last Friday shooting Terminator 4 at Kirtland Air Force Base in New Mexico when all of a sudden he exploded!
During one scene, the director of cinematography, messed up a shot - or so Bale thought.
Christian reportedly went ballistic, screaming "I will kick your ass", amongst other harsh things.
Several hundred people - cast, crew and extras - heard the outburst.
Not cool, Christian.
Not cool at all!

Sorry, but its going to take alot for me to believe that this guy is some sort of jerk with a bad attitude. Hes an actor, there all temperamental, and everyone has crazy ass family members that you want to beat down. Its a sad fact of life.

Oh Wow! Terminator 4! cant Wait! (I think). Who the hell do these stars think they are these days?!!!! Someone special? I am really tired of hearing about egotistical crap like this about the stars. From asault charges, to drug problems to hiding their faces from the photos that put them in magazines that make them the stars they are! Im really sick of it! In the past everyone who has worked with him has had nothing but positive things to say about him so I think everyone needs to give him a break. In the last couple of years, he has gotten huge and maybe he can not deal with it. Or, maybe he has some stuff going on at home that is messing with his head and unlike most celebrities who air all their dirty laundry on national TV, he just needs some time and space (and yelling apparently). I think past reviews on Bale's character show that Perez was right giving him a little slack.

oh please. I totally understand why he's like that. We all knew and know that he hates being in the spotlight and with all the batman hype he's probably trying to just grit his teeth and go through it all. Hes still an AMAZING actor and very well loved, and I think everyone should just kinda leave him alone for a while. Honestly, I think mom and sis were trying to squeeze a bit of money outta him by reporting him to the cops. But no matter how crazy it all gets, he's still sexy as hell.

Maybe he is getting super irritated from all the attention towards Heath's death surrounding Dark knight, he probably worked hard on it and every question, review and remark about the film has been about Health. I know it must be hard for a gossip columnist to understand the idea of a actor being so exhausted and so dedicated to work that sometimes they ma lash out like any normal human being with an actual soul, but I am sure if you think about it hard and long enough you will eventually understand.
Another little note, why not mention that fact that he is extremely gracious to his fans, and donates money to charities? It is so easy for you to tear a man down, but you have no thought of helping him up?

Not to condone aggressive behavior at work, but haven't we all had days that we just wanted to throttle a coworker? Or had days where everyone at work was far from peachy keen? As another poster mentioned, it would be incredibly stressful to do scenes over and over again; coupled with exhaustion and mental stress, I imagine MANY actors have had days like Bale.
Where nastiness is NOT normal is when people like Naomi Campbell throw phones at assistants - where no stress is even involved.
