Fangs make a difference as does the lack of hair in the True Blood Poster, which came up before that other one did. But the True Blood Ad makes NO sense, it's based off a book and the title character in both the book and the new series ISN'T A VAMPIRE, her boyfriend is!

You obviously haven't seen many pictures in relations to vampires or anything that has to do with devouring flesh or something of that nature.
There are MILLIONS of pictures like that. They just couldn't think of something amazingly original, really taht other picture gave me deja vu too.

this is based on the sookie stackhouse series otherwise known as the southern vampire series. read it. its soo much better than the crap twilight was.

This poster came out BEFORE that Megan Fox one, get it right you fucking idiot.
The show if they don't screw it up will definetly be better than some stupid Megan Fox movie. The books were great Charlaine Harris' novels about the Southern Vampires and her creativity are gonna be awesome in a television show. Hopefully they keep the really steamy love scenes, and in her books their romance for everyone Gay or Straight. If you haven't read the books you should.
The "True Blood" poster was released first, your reporting on this is sloppy at best (the way it is currently presented, HBO copied Fox Atomic). Scoop the facts after you scoop another site's story next time.

Read the books by Charlaine Harris that this show is based off of. They are AWESOME if you like that vampirey stuff.

I sooooooo agree! but Twilight's still good… just not as good as the Sookie Stackhouse series. I wonder what the character or Eric & Bill are gunna look like in it. I think they also changed the names of all of 'em too… so now I'm gunna have to figure out who is who. GRRRRR. Watch the show & read the book's… I know the book's are AMAZING, I just hope the show lives up to the book's.
Saw the pilot for this… thought the premise sounded really cool. An attempt to mainstream vampires into modern American society? By the Six Feet Under guy? Pretty sweet.
Turns out was one of the worst pieces of garbage I ever sat through. Just gross, lame, gratuitous, bad acting, awful writing, filled with cliches. A total, offensively bad mess. I certainly won't be watching this come September, but I also won't even like knowing it's out there… happening. /shudder
except for the fact that this one looks good & the other one looks like a discusting mess. Nice comparison. Maybe we should compare you to Becks or something. yeah right

I love the Charlaine Harris books and I'm really excited about this show
The ironic thing is that in the books "True Blood" is drawn from (Charlaine Harris, "Sookie Stackhouse Novels" the lead female character is NOT a vampire. The guy is a vampire. Sigh.

Yes, but it's HBO, and done by Alan Ball so it will be a million times better than any Fox/Juno attempt.
