1. The statue probably looks exponentially better than the real thing…ie no needlemarks, scars, drug anorexia, dirty crack fingers… she didn't want the comparison!

It's beautiful and makes me wish we could turn back time to when she was happier and healthier and looked just like that wax likeness. I agree with another poster, that is is one of the best ones I've seen. It is however, extremely ungrateful that she didn't show up, but not at all surprising. She appears to push aside anything good that happens to her.
Perez, You could not be more right. Her parents are "enablers". That is the worst possible thing you can be for a person with a drug addiction. I know from experience with a family memeber. As family you think the best thing to do is keep trap them at home, give them money for food when really they wont get better until they have no home and no money. Then they have a wake up call and realize that their only option is to get help. Her parents are trying to help her but really they shouldn't be exposed to these type of rewards when she needs medical help.
That explains why my first thought was "WOW she's really looking better!" Now I'm sad.
Oh well it's my own fault for getting my hopes up. I really do hope she gets better though.
