Asslee's ex-boyfriend, Ryan Cabrera, has released a new album independently. Bypassing the majors, the singer's new record is on Poppa Joe's record label.
And no one cares!
According to Boxscore, Cabrera played a concert with musician Ferras at the Newport Music Hall in Columbus, Ohio, on June 18th.
The venue's capacity is 1,200.
But Cabrera only sold 177 tickets.
That's not even a slap - that's a big fist up the butt!

i think he is the sweetest guy ever. i have been to about 6 of his concerts(most of them while he was actually more famous). i honestly don't love the new record but i mean if he wanted to change his style of music that's his choice. but i can understand why he lost alot of his fanbase.

It's not that he's not talented because he is, and he had a really great album. It's just that he's not known anymore, he kinda disappeared so not many people hear from him. I heard one of his old songs in a restaurant the other night and was surprised, he has good music! I'm not sure what happened with his looks, but he used to be very cute. Looks like he's trying to be too grunge and that's just not who he was.
i live in columbus and had no idea he was here. he definitely should've promoted more.

I saw him in Chicago at House of Blues, and there was not very many people there either! But he still performed very well, probably even better than when he was famous. However, I found it really important to mention Ferras! OH MY GOSH! He is fantastic! Definitely check out his song "Hollywood is not America" if you get the chance!

you should listen to his new CD its amazing. & ferras has been opening for him and the shows have pretty much no publicity other than his myspace so I'd like to see you pull in 177 people without posting the show on here or having flyers put up.

i'm the newport music hall's maintenance manager and the actual drop count for the night was 211. we laughed the whole time. it was quite pathetic considering about 3 years ago he sold out the venue.

ryan is AMAZING and one of the nicest guys ive ever met. he puts on such a great show, AND AT THE SHOW IN DALLAS BACK IN MAY THE PLACE WAS PACKED, yes it was a small venue but it was so full. this new album is his best so far. he needs to drop joe simpson (yep still his manager), get some new pr (he made two music videos already and nothing happened with trl, wtf kinda promotion does he have!) , and dump that skank riley keough. most of his fans lost respect for him when she came along. come on her stepdad used to be michael jackson, she has to be messed up.

He was on The View a few weeks ago. He totally SUCKED! He cannot sing well at all…that is obviously not a God-given talent. The View tried so hard to make it work…had a detailed set with a street scene and taxi cab. I think the set was intentionally complicated so as to distract the audience from the lack of talent.
