The Judas failed to take the top spot on the best seller's list and came in at #3.

The book is juicy! I think it will stay on the charts. I just finished it. There's a lot of dirt in there about his dealings with other celebs including some funny, crazy stories about Lauren Hutton, Courtney Love, Farah Fawcett, Demi Moore….. Highly recommended reading for the entertainment junkie!
I'm buying the book this weekend - and at #3, he's still making a lot of dough !

Did it ever occur to you that as talented as Madonna is that she is a bitch and that maybe there is a reason why he supported her so many years and now has chosen not to. That's the reality of being famous. If you aren't savvy enough to have those closest to you sign a non-disclosure agreement then you run the risk of having them write a tell-all about you. From what I've read about her behavior (as much as I do respect Madonna as an artist) she deserved it.
I wouldn't call it Christopher's failure because the public doesn't care about her and his subject matter just didn't stir enough interest. That's her fault. She ain't that important except to you Mario.

I have the book and it's really good and juicy. It's really hard to put down and, although he seems salty about their bad relationship now, I totally believe what he says.
I loved the book and I finished it in 2days! It was really hard to put down and stop hating on Christopher, he's been through alot and he deserves more respect!! I'd really love to see his interior decorating. Does any one know were I could see pictures of his work?
I think it's bullshit that NO ONE is talking about the movie Madonna made about Malawi. She made a movie about one of the poorest countries in Africa, with over a million orphans, and you jackasses aren't talking about THAT. Why not? What have you done to help people living in abject poverty without parents or food or a place to sleep?

I think it's disgusting that so many people completely overlook the good things she's done LATELY, (since she broke 8 bones in her body in 2005) and focus on this dumb book about the time BEFORE M cut off her coke-head brother (he doesn't even deny that he's a coke fiend)! She's accomplished so much since the horseback riding accident; touring in 2006, making two movies, trying to adopt a kid, making her latest record, and now preparing for another tour. Most people would have used an accident like that to excuse hanging it up, but Madonna keeps going. No one forces you to pay attention to her. If you don't like her, stop reading about her.

FIRST OF ALL…THE LAST PERSON WHO CARES THAT HIS BOOK IS AT THIRD IS CHRISTOPHER. He got PAID!!!!!!…..3.8 million dollars paid..plus a percentage of gross profits…and the book is FUCKING HILARIOUS and Juicy..He doesn't dog Madonna for the simple act of hating on her…she deserved it..and there is nothing to sue about..book is his experience not myth or lies like most biographers or Madonna herself have perpetuated. Christopher isn't a sellout..he clearly loves his sister. Perez is just bitter cause he wont be the person in Madonnas life that Christopher is…just that Perez is short and paunchy.
P.S. I am willing to bet my life Perez bought the book which contributed to Christopher's retirement fund.

Madonna was my era in the 80's. What type of people even listen to her now. My kids don't like her, my friends could care less, so who buys these albums? I did see an interview about how Guy Ritchie is a homophob, and he cut off relations with her brother because of it, and Madonna followed suit. Typical, but I think that's her mass appeal is to the tranny's, or the gays.
I am not a fan of Madonna's, and I don't have respect for her brother…trying to cash in on her fame (which is not the first time). But, I have a question….what exactly is the Bestsellers list based on? Is it the actual number of books sold…or, is it based on the percentage of printed copies? Say, for example…one author had 100,000 copies printed, and 10 copies were sold. Ciccone had 10,000 copies, of his book, printed…and, also, sold 10 copies. Would the other author be ranked higher on the list…or no?
I know that I could do the research…but, I thought that I would ask all of you, first. I am just curious as to how this guy could rank 3rd! After all, doesn't everyone ALREADY know more, than we need to know, about Madonna?
If I were M, I would sue the heck out of this guy just to make him spend all the money he's made from this book on costly legal expenses.

it wasn't the bloodbath that everyone was expecting. it was basically stuff we already know about vadge.
The reason it didn't debut so high was because he promised all this shocking information, but then he blabbed it and it wasn't all that shocking. I think he had planned on telling about the least-shocking information to make people maybe think that that there was going to be more shocking stuff than that in the book, but from what I've heard, he told all the good stuff, so I think his plan back-fired in a major way. I dislike Madonna just as much as the next person, but for him to claim to expose her secrets and whatnot and then he doesn't have anything that shocking or secretive was just misleading. But, he's making money off of it, so he's not just a fool - he's a rich fool.
