So Long, Farewell!

Sources reveal exclusively to PerezHilton.com that Kathy Griffin's long-time assistant and My Life on the D-List co-star, Jessica Zajicek, has quit.

And, "it's not pretty," an insider tells us.

The split happened earlier this month.

Unfortunately, her Bravo show is not currently under production, so we'll miss out on the drama on TV!

"Jessica had just had enough of Kathy," says our insider. "She put up with her for several years. She couldn't take it anymore."

Sad to see her go. Jessica was a huge part of Kathy's show!

How many bosses in LaLa land would include their assistant on their TV show… hell not only include, but make her a star on it; hire the assistant an assistant; take the time to perform in her hometown (even if it was a bit… it is a bit that centered around the assistants!); take the time to take you to meet some of the famous people AND include the assistants in on the conversation in a non-condescending way (ie Anderson Cooper, the Woz, Rosie O'Donnell); and most of all, not mind that you were drinking on the job (even if it was New Years, she was on the job)… HELL, Kathy not only didn't say anything, she made up a fucking drinking game just for them - and carried it out on the air with Anderson Cooper on CNN!

      Hot damn… if I lived there, I'd so be applying. I even love dogs and little old ladies that swear and drink boxes of wine.

But I never knew Jessica's last name and if I saw her on the street I wouldn't even know it was her. Granted, I missed season 4, but for the first 3, I never really paid that much attention to her; she came off as sort of a zero charisma sub-character so I only paid her any mind when Kathy was referring to her. Couldn't even tell you one thing that girl did; I don't remember her doing anything particularly memorable. Now Kathy's parents on the other hand…that's a whole 'nuther story! :)
