John Edwards is Eff'd: More Damning Evidence!
It's not getting any better for John Edwards!
As most y'all know, the former Democratic Presidential hopeful was caught by the National Enquirer this week leaving a Beverly Hills hotel where his alleged mistress and bastard baby were staying and Johnny boy tried his best to ditch the surprise attack by the rag's reporters.
We also mentioned Friday morning that the Enquirer filed a criminal complaint against guards at the Beverly Hills hotel for roughing up the reporters who were covering the Edwards sting.
Well, Fox News has revealed that they've tracked down one of the hotel security guards involved in the drama who authenticates the Enquirer's account of the Edwards confrontation.
The guard said he encountered a shaken and ashen-faced Edwards — whom he did not immediately recognize — in a hotel men's room early Tuesday morning in a tug-of-war with reporters on the other side of the door.
"What are they saying about me?" the guard said Edwards asked.
"His face just went totally white," the guard said, when Edwards was told the reporters were shouting out questions about Edwards and Rielle Hunter, a woman the National Enquirer says is the mother of his child.
The guard went on to say he escorted Edwards, who was not a registered guest at the hotel, out of the building after 2 a.m.
Edwards reportedly did not say anything while he was escorted out, said the guard, adding that at times the reporters on the scene were "rough on him," sticking a camera in his face and shouting questions.
The guard told Fox during the chase the reporters had dropped the notebook, which he picked up. "This book has everything in it on him," he said, referring to the ex-presidential candidate.
Fox also caught up with a former campaign staffer, speaking on condition of anonymity, who said he's "not surprised" to hear reports Edwards was visiting Hunter. "I'm definitely upset by it. I wish I was more surprised, though."
Thus far, John Edwards has refused to comment on this week's incident.
Hopefully that will change.

There is no way that this story is true! It is all a fabrication of the right-wing attack machine. Everyone knows that only Republicans/Conservatives get involved in these kinds of scandals. After all, if there were any truth to it, we would have heard about it from ABC, CBS, NBC, CNN, MSNBC, CNBC, The New York Times, The Los Angeles Times, etc. etc. Because none of these major institutions have done anything with the story and only FOX News has mentioned it, then we know it is all a lie/conspiracy/fabrication/hatchet job. I have it from good authority that this entire story is a fabrication. It was a conspiracy created by, among others, Rush Limbaugh, Sean Hannity, Laura Ingraham and other right-wing zealots. The right-wingers have made up this story to discredit John Edwards and are hoping this story will throw Obama's campaign off track and give the election to John McCain.
