Before their breakup, Drew Barrymore cast then boyfriend Justin Long to appear in her feature directorial debut, a flick about roller derby called Whip It.

However, Long is said to be still so distraught over being dumped by Drew that he has dropped out of the roller derby comedy.

A friend of his says, "He couldn't stand working with her and not being with her. He's too upset. She dumped him. She was hot and cold. One minute she was in love with him and the next she wanted to break up with him. He is so distraught over the split that he dropped out of the movie."

Justin, we bet there are a lot of ladies out there who'll let you cry on their shoulder.

Just not Kiki's, k?

      Awwwe. I love Drew but she does tend to lose interest after a while. Justin is a sweetie - it will take time but he will move on and his heart will be trampled on again - it always happens to the nice guys.
      Maybe it's time that Drew talked to someone about her commitment issues - the girl deserves to be happy.

      I may be old, but I thought it was common knowledge that Drew sleeps with women no matter what man she is with, and they have to accept it if they want to be with her. I bet Long agreed to be in her film for a cheap price, as long as he got to still be Mr. Barrymore. Now that he's out all that free publicity, he walked.

      ok, I have a bias because I LOVE Drew and always have… I can't speak from personally knowing her, but I must say… I am curious what the whole story was with their breakup because she has always presented herself (and people who know her have painted the picture) that she is a total romantic. She's all business when it comes to her work, but otherwise is a loving free spirit. She cast Luke Wilson after they broke up in Charlie's Angels and they remained friends (and I think they dated longer). Eh, who knows. I just want her to have the benefit of the doubt.
