Oprah protegee Rachael Ray has come out with a line of all-natural dog food.

We're overlooking her annoying-ness to give her props cuz the dog food proceeds are going to animal shelter charities.

In Rachael's case, that saying "dogs and their owners look alike" is so true!

      I actually respect Rachel Ray a lot for having a pit and for being a responsible owner.

I do not know why she even went into the industry if she was planning on just adding more crap to an already crap full industry. Do your animals a favor: make their own food!       Better check the ingredients before you feed it to your pooch. Rachael is not big on educating herself, and has created dog food recipes on tv that include ingredients that dogs should never eat. Looks like all the posters here just looooooove miss manta ray, but I'm thinking you'd feel less so if you fed your pup one of those RR dog meals and it died.

      Her food is only SLIGHTLY more natural than most grocery brands. It still contains MANY fillers, and is not overall a good food at all. In addition to this, her treats are filled with SHIT!!! I know her cause is good, but I am NOT sacrificing my dog's quality food to buy her GARBAGE!!!! Buy INNOVA, EVO, NATURE'S VARIETY, WELLNESS, etc. That is actually GOOD.

      I like her ok but this "natural" food is pure crap. I checked the ingridients and it has corn gluten and other crap. It also lacks a lot of the vitamins provided by other excellent brands. PLEASE DO NOT FEED this to your dog. I'm pretty sure she would not either. Anybody that does a little research knows that all the food sold by stores like Walmart and Kmart are bad for your dogs. You can only find great quality dog food online (Flint River Ranch), at PetSmart, PetCo (Blue, Nutro Choice) or through your vet (Royal Canin, Hill's Prescription Diet).

The major part of this food consists of grain and soy, generic animal fat, corn gluten meal as a cheap protein booster, and more salt than the touted "veggies".       Uh, corn meal is one of the first few ingredients. It's not a very good dog food, actually it's pretty unhealthy. Also "animal fat" is a bad sign, if it doesn't specify what animal it means it's an extremely low quality unidentifiable mix.

      In all reality, her line of food is NOT all that healthy when it comes down to it. High fructose corn syrup for your dog? If it's not good for you, it's DEFINITELY not good for them.

      If you can't say the word, it's definitely not good for you and definitely is NOT natural. All this stuff will do is fatten your pets up. Dogs are better off with an all-natural brand such as Merrick, Wellness or Natural Balance.

      I love R.R., but I would never feed this crap to my pitbull. I have mine on the B.A.R.F. (Bones and Raw Food) diet. It's a mixture of ground lamb, ground sirloin, ground rabbit, ground chicken along with vitamins and nutritional supplements. He developed severe allergies and constant ear infections on commercial food at 6 months old, until I switched him to raw. He is now beautiful and the vets are always amazed at how healthy he is. He hasn't had any allergies or ear infections since and he's almost 2. It's expensive, but well worth worth the expense for a beautiful healthy dog. Plus, I know exactly what my dog is eating and not all of the fillers and crap they put in the processed sh*t. I'll never switch him back. Turn over your dog food bags and read the ingredients next time. If people are starting to eat organic and are on health food diets, don't our pets deserve the same?
