Congratulations to Rebecca Romijn and Jerry O'Connell.

The couple, who got married last summer, are expecting their first child together.

Actually, they're expecting two!

The pair's rep confirmed Monday morning that they are going to be having twins.

The babies are due this winter.

I don't know about them, but the percentage of 'hollywood' women having twins and the average women having twins, there seems to be a great number more in hollywood, too much for all of them to be normal conceptions. It is supposed to be like 1 in a 100 pregnancies. It seems like 1 in 4 lately. TMZ talked about a person who worked for one of the top ob/gyns in hollywood and this person said you would be shocked on how many women go to him and how many what twins. With the confidentiality agreements, this person could not reveal the dr or the patients. With all these twins, I got to wonder if any are having selective abortions when more than 2 take. In the end, as long as the couples are having children for the right reason

You should not make fun of IVF. Not only does it make it those who are having problems conceiving pregnant but, in the case of thousands of Americans who wait late in life to start families. It gives the Doctors a chance to be selective with the healthiest eggs after spermenation. If the Hollywood crowd did it the old fashion way, statically we would see a lot more of the over 35 births with Down syndrome and birth defects. I think IVF should be used by every woman over 40.

The article talks about the added elements involved in security,travel and media attention when celebrities are patients. Dr Saperstein said "her main concern is the health and well being of both the mother and child.She is shocked that cameras would follow and impede the movement of a pregnant women". When asked if celebrity couples are using IVF to produce twins Dr Rand Pink's spokesperson,Zsa Zsa Giggleman had no comment.The article quotes a Hollywood insider saying "securing Dr Rand Pink as your gynecologists is like being directed by a someone that is going to bring out an Oscar performance for that title role of motherhood" Dr Sussman and Dr Pink handled the media attention in France quite well during Angelina Jolie's delivery but Hollywood is a different animal with photographers combing the streets for opportunities to cash in. It is so practical for them too, they can have two children at once instead of having to go through the whole pregnancy thing more than once. My sister who works at Paramount Studios got me in to see Dr Saperstein and Dr Pink because they have a closed practice and I was shocked at the security they had at their office. They have two men in suits with ear pieces like the Secret Service outside the entrance to the practice. I once saw Heather Locklear there and I didn't know she was so tiny but very pretty. We hear this couple on Howars Stern ans they seem so normal and they make fun of themselves that it proves that the crazy people in Hollywood would be crazy in Iowa or Florida.
