Audrina Patridge sat down with the LA Times and dished about her 'career' and her relationship with her Hills co-star, Lauren Conrad.
Here's are the HIGHlights of the interview.
It's so obvious to us that she can't stand L.C. and is just making nice for the cameras!
Is Lauren your friend?
We live together, so yeah, we see each other a lot while the show is taping. Sometimes I see her when it's not.But is she your friend outside of "The Hills"?
We don't have a lot of the same friends, but we try to reserve one night a week to hang out. In the fourth season, you'll see our fight gets cleared up. Basically, I just start doing my own thing separately from her and Lo [Lauren Bosworth], and I get busy. But you know, things change and friendships do drift apart sometimes. Lauren and I aren't not friends, we're just not as close as we used to be.What about Lo? Do you blame moving in together with her and Lauren for the rift in your friendship?
I do think living in that separate guest house of mine was definitely the cause of the tension between Lauren and me. We were used to being right next to each other in our apartment. I don't really blame Lo, she and Lauren have been friends for a long time.

It's really sad how indirect she is, she wont even say that they are NOT friends anymore…just that sometimes friends drift. Obviously they have drifted. I think that fame is something that has driven these girls apart. Lauren doesn't want any creating a shadow on her…so she just gets rid of anyone who does that, in this case it's Audrina.

I did not see enemy in the interview. What it seemed to me is that they are basically forced together. 'we don't have alot of the same friends…..' We don't have the same interests but the producers of the show wanted a burnette and a blonde, so for a paycheck, I will put up with living in the house during shooting. Show is cancelled, I will have my moving truck up at the door in a new york minute…… you got to think of the hills as a soap opera playing with real persons lives. very 1984…I would love to find out the Heidi has been married to a professor for 7 years and has 3 kids
