Screw Starbucks. It's overpriced and the coffee isn't that great.

dunkin donutssssss
Love the coffee, but too damn expensive!!
it sucks so bad. last week starbucks was giving a few drinks for freee cause of this.
Whatever-number-ith!!
And no, I love Starbucks!
BIG FUCKING DEAL! First off, it's too expensive, too fattening, and served by snot faced kids that think their shit smells like roses. Second, it tastes awful! Third, if you're not one of the supposed trendy and tragic mocha coca fashionista fake asswipes, you have no fucking idea what they're serving anyway! Give me Dunkin Donuts anyday, motherfuckers!
I quit going there after I actually calculated I was spending $75 a month (they kept upping prices) on so-so coffee.
I'm gonna miss having to repeat my order 20 times and still getting the wrong thing. I'm also going to miss being corrected for saying "medium" instead of "grande".
Re: Sad – HYSTERICAL!!!!! LOLOL
OH so sad
I LOVE WHITE CHOCOLATE MOCHA
Ha I'm British so i still have starbucks!
Re: Anononon – Hi, I'm American, we still have Starbucks.

Who cares, Starbucks is overrated. The coffee isn't even that tastey. I've had better from the local gas station.
im a shift supivisor at starbucks. hopefully mine doesn't let me down! ahhh
I'm so happy we don't have this very bad shop in the Netherlands…I hope they go out of business before they sicken the whole world with their sick formula. last year I was in Japan and even there it was overcrowded with Starbucks. We don't need another environment crusher like McDonalds, Burger King and KFC. I hope we can keep my country free from this Starbucks mess!
THANKS to that HORRiBLE MAN! GWB and all his minions.
The United States of America has been screwed by the REPUBLICANS.
Re: anti_ –
The Netherlands is NOT a UTOPIA with or without western companies, you European ASS.
Weird. In Toronto, they are HIRING at almost every location I walk into.
thats what happens when you sell shit overpriced conflict coffee every block and a half in every city in north america. Fuck starbucks can't wait to see out of business signs on their windows
Attn Starbucks: I can solve your problem right here and now - you'd have more customers and make more money if you'd stop charging $5.00 for a drink that cost you pennies to make, and $2.00 for plain coffee! Shameless!
QUIT CHARGING MEGA BUCKS
FOR YOUR YUPPIE FRIGGIN' COFFEE,
it is coffee, not liquid gold!
Sydney Morning Herald in Australia showed yesterday (the 30th of July) that they are shutting 61 of its 85 shops across Australia! Around 600 jobs or even more from my memory. So the Starbucks enterprise is not only suffering in America
Re: L –
You're ASS. Pennies to make? Shouldn't companies profit from their sales?
Wonder how much "MARK-UP" there is on the products you own, hmmm?
Have you ever been into a Starbucks?
Most people that comment on how much coffee costs at Starbucks have NEVER been into one, obviously.
A SMALL latte at McDonalds is $1.99, Enjoy!
It makes sense that when people tighten their wallets, $5 coffee will be pretty high on the list of things to cut out. Seattle's Best is better anyway!
You get just as good coffee at your local gas station, except you only have to pay.75-1.00. Only soceer moms and fags like Starbucks, right Perez, you now can lay off the donuts.
Yep, you can thank Democrats like Nancy Pelosi and company for that one. Since they wont allow drilling for oil, where it exists, the supply shortage is causing gas prices to skyrocket. Since people need to buy gas, they are giving up the things they don't need, like overpriced mochas and lattes.
Re: anti_ – LOL! You still have lots of Muslims, though. I was sorry to hear one of those crazy bastards stabbed a Van Gogh descendant.
I think their decision to make customers pay for internet is going to be nails in the coffin (no pun intended)! I now ONLY go to local coffee shops because of the free internet. FU Starbucks charging to use the internet! Free wireless you jackasses at Starbucks!
Re: SeaWA – Yeah right, Bush cant do shit without Congress' approval. Blame them - they are mostly democrats.
Everything went to hell when they took over control two years ago
Examples:
1. Gas prices doubled - democrats wont allow drilling because they care more about the caribou than they do people.
2. Home prices tumbled because democrats required lenders to give home loans to people who couldn't afford the mortgage.
3. Employers are going out of business because the can't afford to pay workers the new minimum wage.
4. Housing rentals are increasing due to the increased minimum wage.
5. Grocery prices are going up due to higher transportation costs i.e. gas prices.
6. Gov't his still handing out money to poor countries when we need the money here at home.
7. Gov't is paying for illegals in jail.
8. Gov't is paying for illegals education.
9. Gov't is paying for illegals to get medical care.

If you want to blame Bush for the war, go ahead, but don't blame him for the poor economy. He's done things good for the economy like cutting taxes and giving rebate checks. Get educated fool or keep your mouth shut!
In Australia over 600 people lost their jobs yesterday, including me. Starbucks can screw themselves, they gave us 2 days noticed. The store i was working is closing on the 3rd of August.
I HATE STARBUCKS
Re: Mary –
MARY, MARY quite contrary, you are the FOOL.
What a hateful little wench too.
But for The WAR…the WORLD would be a better place.
Economic stimulus check ?
Pure Bush Brillancy.
Just what I needed, more money to pay for GAS.
Starbucks sucks anyways. They are way over-priced and way over-rated.

ooops********* CORPERATION!!!
ooops my bad i meant CORPERATION!*********
Gee hopefully some of those Starbucks closing will be in Canada. Not to worry about the employees Timmies is always hiring. You never see a Tim Hortons close. I think they have a few in the States now. Give them a chance, you'll never go back.

Re: starF – Nope! You still got it wrong, it's "Corporation".
Seems to me there's something rotten at Starbucks headquarters… They announced yesterday that they were closing two thirds of all Starbucks in Australia - yes, the whole country. This is, according to the newspaper article has 'nothing to do with' the U.S closures, but in order to diversify internationally. I don't think sooooo! No one closes a store that's turning a profit.
The 600 stores have already been closed down, they did not fire all of the partners working in the stores but are re-training the ones that wanted to stay for other store locations. It is Howard's vision to keep the company as a whole operating within the guidelines he set when he bought the company in 1986. I think closing down the stores and laying off unecessary positions is a great idea if it keeps the original vision for the comapny alive… I Love Starbucks, and I love being a Starbucks manager. Oh and BTW, we are not all snobs, we just know are damned coffee and take pride in knowing we are the only coffee company who gives their coffee farmers fare trade prices for all of their wares…..EDUCATE YOURSELVES BITCHES!!!!!
K…
You're a fucking idiot. Tim Hortons puts MSG in your coffee. It is slowly poisoning you every time you drink it, I would know I was a manager for them for over a year before I realized what they do to their coffee and their patrons by doing so. Starbucks may not be what everyone likes or needs, but who cares what you all think, if you don't like it don't go there for coffee. SUCK IT UP PRINCESSES, maybe you would be educated if you picked up a book once and awhile instead of reading PEREZHILTON.COM (it's ok to browse celebusites if you're smart and well educated) Try "Pour your heart into it" by Howard Shultz or "It's not about the coffee" By Howard Bahr and maybe you wouldn't spout out some much bullshit that it rims your mouth like brown lipstick you uneducated canadian.. You make me ashamed for you.
its actually a really sad thing. I worked there for two years and quit just in time. My friends are all losing their jobs including my manager and district manager. Starbucks does everything they can to make you think you have no other option but to work there, and now people are left with no job and a feeling of hopelesness bc this is what they based their life on. If youve ever worked there you understand what im saying. Its really sad.
I work for Starbucks at the moment and even though numerous stores will be closing, they are taking care of their partners by finding other Starbucks locations for them to work in.
