The Canadian hills sure are alive.
Simon Lee, one of the judges of the Canuck reality show searching for a gal to play Maria in a new production of Sound of Music, was arrested on Sunday night.
According to Toronto police, Lee was arrested in a hotel room where it is alleged that a person was hit and kept from leaving.
WTF?
Lee appeared in court on Monday and was granted bail, and is scheduled to be back in court on Aug. 27.
The report also points out that Lee was absent from the final two episodes of the show, which wrapped up Monday night.
Scandalous!

For the record, please note that Simon Lee is a London-based conductor. He is a British citizen visiting Canada to judge the show. He is not Canadian. Canadians are much too polite to restrain their male lovers in their hotel room against their will. That would be so un-Canadian!

I watched an uploaded video of the Maria finale, specifically the time in question when John is hugging Janna. He clearly says "You are so going to work. You're so gonna work." If you read his lips, you can even see it. Take a cue from the Maria you're such a "fanna" and have some class. Stop being a sore loser. Janna is going to benefit greatly from being on the show and has a wonderful career in front of her. Elicia winning takes nothing away from Janna's talent and future.
