Well, he was drunk, but….
New reports claim that Shia LaBeouf was not at fault for this past weekend's accident.
A Sheriff's spokesman said detectives had found that the other driver apparently jumped a red light and would be charged.
"He (LaBeouf) was not at fault," the mouthpiece said of the Transformers actor.
Shia was detained on suspicion of drink driving on Sunday after the crash.
Regardless, if he had been drinking he should not have been behind the wheel!

I absolutely agree. These starts actually have the money to take a cab, limo, or even hire a driver to drive them around or pick them up. I really like Shia in all his movies. I hope he's just going through the "stupid" phase all late-teens early 20s seem to have to go through…and then straightens up to keep making awsome movies; he really does have amazing talent. If Shia had done the same it would be a felony not a misdimenor DUI, the facts of the matter are Shia was following all of the rules of the road and the accident was not his fault, but he still will be held accountable because he was visibly intoxicated.
