Kansas City - Two women were charged with prostitution in Camden County on Thursday after they were arrested in a sting operation at a Lake Ozark hotel last week.
Two other women were also arrested, and three of the women are pregnant. Alexandra Wells and Allysia Waldrop were both charged on Thursday. Waldrop is pregnant, but is not known if Wells is also.
The undercover bust went down at a Lake Ozark area hotel after the sheriff's department received several reports that pregnant women were advertising prostitution on an internet advertising site.
One of the women arrested was eight months pregnant, another six months pregnant, and another was three months pregnant. They ranged in age from 18 to 22 years old.

Someone needs to be helping these women, not arresting them. What are these women going to do once they have the babies? They need shelter, medical attention, counseling, and, most of all, compassion.
I think it is a shame that young girls get pregnant, there are methods of birth control out there. apparently there is no home training. There is nothing wrong with having sex while you are pregnant and there is nothing wrong with prostitution, it's the oldest profession in the world and it should be decriminalised to protect the girls that do it, if these woman are sentenced to a prison term then their babies will be born in prison and taken into care, just because they get paid for sex doesn't make them bad mothers!!
I live in KC and I find it necessary to point out that the events actually took place in CAMDEN COUNTY, which is over 3 hours from KC. The story was published in KC, which is why it says KC at the beginning.
I definitely find this story disturbing, but I think it's a bit ridiculous that people can't figure out the difference between where a story occurred and where it was published.

Lake of the Ozarks is an entirely different area of the state, Kansas City just happened to publish the story.
