As a fellow mormon, I really sympathize with her because i know how she feels. I'm kinding stuggling with the same things though I go to church all time too. It seems like she really wants be an active member again so I hope her the best. I think once she has children she will be stronger in changing.

the undergarments mormons wear aren't magic. The purpose of wearing them is to constantly remind a person of the covenant they have made in the temple. Its meant as sort of an outward expression of our religion of very sacred feelings. The garments also there to encourage modest dress. Please people don't be so ignorant.

I live in Provo, I am LDS and I haven't set foot in church since 1991…it is the most hypicritial church out there-when my husband and I got married (back when I did go to church) the bishop expected me to tell my non-mormon parents that they couldn't come to my wedding-oh, but they could pay for it! That's when I said screw it and DIDN'T marry in the temple-and I never regretted it! My friends that did marry in the temple all said it was really disappointing-kind of like being herded like cattle from one room to another in the temple…
It's too bad so many of you are so quick to make fun of people for what they believe (especially when it's clear that you don't even know what they believe or why they believe it). This is a tolerant Church. And why does it matter to you what people believe in? Do you think you are entitled to your own religious beliefs and opinions? Obviously you do because you state them.
