Things are slowly moving along in the divorce case between New York Yankee Alex Rodriguez and Madonna-hater Cynthia Rodriguez.
In newly released court docs, A-Rod goes after enforcing his pre-nup and asks that any charges that he cheated on Cynthia be removed.
And, luckily for A-Rod, Florida is a no-fault divorce state, so he doesn't have to explain why the marriage is "irretrievably broken."
With that being the case, he wants all of Cynthia's allegations stricken, such as her statements of his "extramarital affairs and other marital misconduct" since they are "immaterial and impertinent."
As for Cynthia's petition to the court, she is asking for the couple's $12 million waterfront estate. She also wants all "equitable distribution" of all assets acquired during the marriage.
So she basically wants half of all his hard earned money.
She also asked for alimony and child support. She also wants benefits such as life and health insurance and private school tuition for the girls.
And though she didn't mention how much money it would cost, Cynthia did suggest she wanted to maintain the "high standard of living" that she has had so far.
As for A-Rod's documents, they state, "Husband denies any duty to support wife beyond those obligations specifically set out in the parties' prenuptial agreement." Though those terms don't seem to suit Cynthia.
So why did she sign the pre-nup?!
On a good note, the papers says, "Husband is confident that he and wife will be able to continue to work with one another to co-parent their children together and that they will be able to agree upon a time-sharing schedule … without the need for court intervention."
Yea, we bet she won't be showing him the kids unless he pays up.
As for A-Rod's attorney, he adds that "Cynthia and Alex are both very good people and they both have the best interests of their kids at heart. This is a tough time for both of them and they prefer to handle this matter as privately and amicably as possible."

When 2 people are married, and one stays home with the kids and manages the household (therefore not earning any $ his/herself), then whoever has the job outside the household is obligated to split that money. If not, we would have no stay-at-home parents! I am a stay-at-home Mom, and my husband's hard-earned money is MY hard-earned money as well (since I'm working my ass off…just got done doing 3 loads of laundry, cleaning up all the kids toys, vaccuming the whole first floor, etc. and not getting paid).

Women should never sign prenups that are not fair to them. They will regret it later. Men force women to sign those things or they won't get married, so women get sucked into it. Women, don't sign anything that says you won't share assets during marriage. Before and after is a different thing, but during marriage couples should build together.

The court should definitely enforce the pre-nup. She signed it with legal advice. So tough now she should live up to the pre-nup. What's a contract if you can renege on it? These women are parasites who see the guys as meal tickets and would sign anything and hope that their lawyers will be able to negate it afterwards. The court should make an example out of CRod and enforce the prenup to the letter.

Taking care of kids is easy, they are at school from 8 to 2 Monday to Friday. Cleaning your average 2500sqf takes about 2 hours, or you could get a cleaning lady 3 times a week for about $150. So basically all this fat lazy house wives are home alone from 8am-2pm watching TV and reading dumb magazines and eating donuts.
I'm sure playing baseball is hard. Is not like I did not played back in school but it takes skills to make it to the pros. If it was as easy as being a teacher or a cashier at walmart i think most of us would be playing for the pros. Try getting up at 430am Monday to Saturday to be at work at 6am. Try staying awake in rush hour traffic going 5-10MPH for 24 miles. Try working in the hot LA summer outdoors.
