Covering For LaDouche
Despite police proclaiming publicly that Shia LaDouche was "clearly" drunk during his DUI arrest last weekend, the actor's Transformers 2 director insists his star was sober at the time of the car crash.
In a new interview, Michael Bay says:
“You’re gonna see — that’s gonna go away. That’s fresh news… He was not drunk. He was drinking hours and hours before."
Dude, you're not helping his cause by ADMITTING that he was drinking.
Were you with him? Did you see how much he consumed????
Adds Bay, "I spoke to him yesterday in the hospital. His two fingers are pretty mashed, but we’re figuring out a way to shoot around it, kind of write it in the story.”
Despite LaDouche's most recent arrest, his second in less than 12 months, Bay insists that Shia is still a good person. He says, "The kid really has his head together and you know, he’s only 22. He’s doing a great job on this movie. He’s really matured since the last one and I love working with him.”
Of course you're gonna say that. You gotta put a pretty spin on things.
But, it would have been a lot braver and more responsible to condemn LaDouche's drinking and driving.

After an accident that, oh say, your vehicle rolled and you smashed up your hand and more than likely your head as well, wouldn't you seem, oh I don't know, a little out of it and perhaps may appear to be drunk? Have you ever been involved in an accident of this magnatude? Because I have and I know for a fact I had a hard time standing up, not swaying, and had trouble pronouncing words and completing sentences. Sometimes even police officers are wrong. He was not given a breathalizer and they were going on visual clues. Nothing was even mentioned of a smell of alcohol on him and that is usually the give away, not their physical movements. The fact that he had an arrest for smoking doesn't automatically say he drinks and drives. The guy keeps his ass out of trouble for the most part and the trouble he has gotten into hasn't been anything major or life threatening. He avoids douche bags like you at all cost and when he does encounter you/them, he is nothing but cool and goes about his day as if you weren't there. He's not a drop pretentious. I mean come on, the guy drives a Ford F150 around town for the love of God. It's time you let it go. You sound like a catty bitch. Not everyone is a piece of shit.

When you are injured especially badly like Shia was the body releases its own morphine (but it's stronger) essentially so if he was acting strange it could have been due to that.
Second of all if he was drunk then why was there no blood alcohol test to back it up.
