What you do off the clock could cost you your job!

We mentioned a few days ago that long time Andrew Lloyd Webber associate Simon Lee, who was also one the judges on the Canuck reality show How Do You Solve a Problem Like Maria, was arrested on Sunday for assault and forced imprisonment.

He pulled a Boy George and attempted to trap some dude in his HOtel room.

Well, his shenanigans have cost him dearly.

He's been fired as the musical supervisor of the upcoming Toronto-based Lloyd Webber production of The Sound of Music.

The PR firm repping the production said, "Simon is a very talented person who is extremely important to us. However, on this occasion we felt it was necessary to seek the termination of his engagement on The Sound of Music in Toronto. The alleged events are subject to legal proceedings and, therefore, we can't comment further."

There's no such thing as loyalty during a time of scandal!

      I've watched the show since it first started airing and although I didn't particularly care much for Simon, it's unfortunate that all of this has to happen during such an important time for the tv show itself as well as during the developing of the musical.

      He only liked the most androgynous/manly contestant on 'Maria', and was rude to and discarded the ones who were feminine, harsh coming from a guy who looks like a raddled 65 year old with too-big teeth veneers.
      Too bad he didn't forcibly confine his man-ho before the shows were broadcast! But at least the right girl won despite him.

      this is really sad for the victim and Simon Lee. obviously this guy is talented and has worked hard for his accomplishments, but to see it all fall in an instance, has to be rough. but, on the otherhand, if he's victimized once, he's probably done it a million times before. afterall, isn't that how people get to the top? or on top for this matter :)

      let this be a lesson to anyone trying to retain someone against their wishes.

      It is truly sad. Simon always treated the girls on the show wonderfully. they knew that he had personal demons, and not everyone knows the whole story…like the guy is his boyfriend, and they like both like there coke (sniff sniff) I hope they both get the help they need, and that Simon cleans up his life, because he is insanely talented!
