Solange Knowles must have hired a nanny or three to take care of that baby of hers so she can get back to work.

To start off, Solange has just been named as an ambassador for Armani Jeans.

Giorgio Armani supposedly said, "Armani Jeans expresses my vision of a young, independent, casual lifestyle with a strong and cool, fashion sensibility. Solange epitomises this style perfectly and brings to it that swing so evident in her new single, I Decided."

That has marketing/PR/corporate mouthpiece written all over it!

In late August, Solange's second album, SoL-AngeL and the Hadley Street Dreams (from which I Decided is taken), hits the streets.

The younger Knowles will then be embarking on a worldwide tour this autumn.

Work it!

      Yeah, back when I was working as a cashier at a Kroger in the River Oaks area of Houston, TX, she came into my lane & I checked her out. She was actually nice & sweet. I totally didn't know who she was at the time, until my supervisor told me since she (Knowles) apparently shops there quite a bit. She didn't have a nanny, it was just her baby, which at the time couldn't have been more than eight months old. She seemed like she was very hands on with being a mom, she had that tired mom look about her, so I have to give her props for that. I wish her well on her career.

Are we really living in a world where people think BLUE JEANS are important enough to merit someone's having the title of AMBASSADOR to promote them. To Solange and Armani: GET AN EFFING GRIP. Ambassadors are important people. They are political figures that are positioned to promote stability between countries; something that neither one of you is or would ever be worthwhile enough to be.       well– where to start?? The only reason she be gettin' all this attention and this new gig with Armani is simply due to the fact that she's a Knowles, and as such, she has an entourage of people behind her helping to promote her music. It's the beyonce strategy– you see her til you can't get enough… you see her in movies, comercials, magazines, on the side of the bus… and that doesn't mean that the person is talented.
      I feel sad for Michelle, who was supposed to drop her album this August, but being the underdog that she is, was pushed back to October. Of course, Pappa knowles will do anything to promote his baby gurl and not michelle.
