Elizabeth Taylor's publicist is denying reports that she is hospitalized and close to death.

Her rep tells us:

"Ms. Taylor is fine. The Rumors which began in England about her health are dramatic, overstated and untrue. Her hospital visit was precautionary. She will be returning home shortly. At present, she is surrounded by family, friends and fabulous jewels."

Good to know!

Diamonds are forever, and so is Elizabeth Taylor.

    What a relief Elizabeth's health wasn't "she's gonna die in the next few hours." But goodness, her health really has been pants for the past couple of years I gotta say it is amazing she is still around. Good going Elizabeth and glad to read you're still chugging around. :D

    From her husbands??? Her husbands always tried to get money from HER. Read the book Elizabeth by J. Randy Raraborrelli. Elizabeth ALWAYS had her own money. Sure some of her husbands liked to buy her jewlery (they too were collectors of jewels) but she ALWAYS had her own means.

    Doris Day is a sweet girl next door, but that doesn't mean Elizabeth isn't a great role model. She has been through A LOT since she was just a child and started her own AIDS Foundation after her friends (and famous Hollywood actors) started to pass away from the disease.

    She also adopted a child with health issues from a poverty stricten family. There are so many great things Elizabeth did in her life time and she was always hit with health issues but she has survived it all!

    I saw her at Hyde (NO SHIT) like a month ago, on a Tuesday night which is the "gay" night, i was suprised the paps weren't there.
    when we walked in we said hi to a friend who is the DJ.. and he told us not to be upset that the music was so low, it was because she was there, and we were like, no way.. and as soon as we opened the door, she was in the corner table, wheel chair folded up against the pillar.. we knew she had left when the music went up..
