Uncreative Hollywood has ANOTHER sequel is in the works.
Mike Meyers has started writing Austin Powers 4.
The flick will be an homage to Meyers' father, says an insider, "It's very personal with a father and son theme loosely based on his own life."
Meyers has previously said that the fourth installment of Austin Powers will focus on villain Dr. Evil.
So, based on the insider's revelation, it looks like Dr. Evil's son, Scott, will play a huge role in the sequel.
That doesn’t sound too bad. We thought Seth Green was funny as Scott Evil.
What do y’all think about the 4th coming of Austin Powers?

I may not be as excited about the next Austin Powers movie as I know my 2 boys (ages 14 and 5) will be. Hope it's better than the Love Guru!

Not excited, not funny. Goldmember was AWFUL! Mike Meyers has worn out his funniness……just like Adam Sandler, Rob Schneider (who fucking SUCKS), and all 90s SNL castmembers (which is getting awfully close to including Will Farrell). GO AWAY!!! NOT FUNNY!!!! NOT EVEN CLOSE!!!

Well with the success of The Love Guru, is it any wonder that Mike Myers would turn to something that had a good following. Kinda reminds you of Eddie Murphy and Beverly Hills Cop 4.

Myers only beat the franchise to winthin an inch of its life wth Goldmember, now he's going in for the kill. I was hoping he'd do another movie tied in to his dad somehow…So I married an Axe Murderer and Love Guru really whetted my appetite for more of those. It would seem wiser to get psychiatric help than to foist your daddy issues on the public time and again, Mike. Seriously.

yeah I'm kind of excited. Austin Powers 1 and 2 are some of my favorite movies of all time…the 3rd one was terrible "Jive turkey?" never put Beyonce in a movie. So yeah, bring it.
OMG I was just watching goldmember like 3 days ago and wondering when they were going to make another one.
give me a break, Myers is only doing this "Oh So Personal" movie because the last time he tried to do anything origional "The Love Guru" it tanked. He has forgotton how to be fresh, his entire act is now winking at the camera and making the "Aren't I being funny?" faces. The first two Austin Pwers movies were funny, the first Waynes movie was funny, but Austin Powers 3 and Waynes World two were horrible. The only way to save this film is if Scott, Frau Farbissina, Number 1 etc…. do most of the heavy lifting.

This isn't new. When the third Austin Powers movie came out they said that the fourth movie would be based around Dr. Evil.

Sadly, he (like so many comedians) just seems to have lost touch. And this comes from a fan of his. It's not like Gold Member was any good, and unless they do really utilize Seth Green, who is very in touch, this will be horrible.

While the third Austin Powers was subpar, and "The Love Guru" was even worse, I worry about an Austin Powers 4. However, if he can rekindle the magic of AP 1 and 2…….I'm all freaking for it!
