After working for Wal-Mart for two years, I know from personal experience how corrupt the company truly is. They continue to pay females less than males, and they will fire you for just talking to a member of a union on store property. They are a terrible company and I will continue to boycott them, as all Americans should!
Actually the Freedom Of Choice Act is designed to take away secret ballots. It isn't anti-union, its anti-strongarming. If enacted, that means either party can strongly influence, or harm those who vote either way. Also, it only take 50% plus 1 to go union, but if they want to no longer be unionized, there has to be a vote of 80%.

try boycotting them in the middle of Wal-mart land… so difficult and no store around carries half of what they do. We try to shop locally and within the community but generally Wal-mart has managed to force the potential competitors elsewhere. I pray for a Whole Foods or even Wild Oats.

I used to work for a super walmart and I remember the first day of orientation they had some big-wig come in and lecture about how joining a Union was a bad idea, which I thought was really over done and had no clue why it was so important that even after his 'lecture' they showed a video (one of three) about why a union for walmart would be so horrible. It was grounds for termination for even been seen talking to someone from a union. This was like 3 years ago and no (THANK GOD) do not work for them anymore. It was a shitty place to work for. but they do have great prices. damn them
