The high notes that she sang in the end are not on the original song. She totally did that LIVE!!!!!! Although she did have a back up track but everyone does that. Also everyone knows she has THE BEST VOICE and she's already proven herself as a singer. She's earned the right to rely on a back up track as much as she wants!!!! SHE IS SINGING LIVE! SHe has background vocals playing but if you listen there are parts that sounds a tiny bit off, that is how you can tell. tHey prolly didnt zoom in because of all the smoke in the air from her entrance, who cares anyways. this video is horrible quality too and who knows what edits are made before these videos are put onto youtube.

Notice the thing on her ear. That's an ear plug. It Allows you to connect more with your voice by reducing the volume of the sound surrounding you. Basically you can only hear your own voice. Mariah said once that she doesn't like wearing the ear plug beacuse it's very uncomfortable for her but eventually she wear it because she doesn't want to "sound bad". so if she lipsynching there's no reason for her to use it.

Nope, it was live. YouTube has that time delay that would give the impression of lip-syncing, plus the high note at the end was clearly live. The one in the Japan performance last month or two sounded better so obviously she would've used that one if she was lip-syncing.
