Thank Goodness! 'Very Psychotic' Madonna Stalker Has Been Captured!!!
What a relief!
To recap - early this morning, we heard the terrifying news that 54-year-old Robert Dewey Hoskins, a man who was convicted of stalking and threatening Madonna, had escaped from a mental hospital in Norwalk, CA.
The LAPD were describing the man as follows:
"…A very psychotic man when not taking his medication and has very violent tendencies."
Now, we're VERY happy to report that the Los Angeles Police Department have captured Madonna's very dangerous stalker!
The LAPD announced that Hoskins was found around 9 a.m. this morning "not far from the mental facility from which he escaped."
He's currently in police custody and he's being escorted back to the hospital.
We're just glad that nobody was hurt while this man was on the loose. We're ESPECIALLY glad that he wasn't able to get close to Madonna.
Great job, LAPD! We're very pleased and impressed!

I love Chris Martin and I love this song, but the video's awful. I want to see scenes from the lyrics portrayed by Chris and the band… this song is way too epic for them to sit in the same spot, same scenery, the entire vid. Looks pretty low budget to me.. any tool can get a green screen and some instruments.

The song has a fabulous political meaning, but the video does not portray anything at all. It is very off-the-wall and Chris Martin looks like he is having some major convulsions throughout the entire thing. Insanity.
I'm a big fan of Coldplay but this video totally sucks. The song it's great, but I think it wasn't time to release a video for it now if it's been already a sucess. They should be promoting more Violet Hill or release Lost!

I really like coldplay….their older stuff that is. Theyre trying wayyy too hard to sound like U2, actually In a few songs I couldnt tell the difference between the two. Long Live The King…Chris Martin! I never knew much about the band (except he was married to Gwynnie) or 'got' music until this song. Still not crazy about the whole CD but this should be Song of the Year. Fabulous! With a touch of Sting. But hey, I thought Welcome To The Black Parade was one of the best too.

Honestly, if they wanted to do a concept album, they should have gotten all the details ironed out instead of just haphazardly alluding to different events.

Kevin, I completely agree with you. Again, Coldplay's attempts to seem "deep" come off as pretentious and make them look bad. Worse, anyway.
they have good PR people. It's not good business sense to release the video at the exact same time as the single or album.
I love the song and I loved this video but why is all about him. Its not like he's the best looking or anything. The bass player is wayyyyyyy more attractive. they are all equal parts of a band!!! yeah he sings but we know what moving your mouth looks like so don't put his face in front of the camera the whole time. I still love coldplay though.:) the concert was awsome.

There are two versions. This one is okay but the second version - a sort of tribute to a Depeche Mode video - is better. It's funny. LOVE the song. Saw them in concert recently and they were amazing. Great live. The guitarist Jonny Buckland is looking seriously good too!
