Christina Applegate Has Cancer

Sad sad news.
Christina Applegate has been diagnosed with breast cancer.
Her rep released the following statement late Saturday:
"Christina Applegate was diagnosed with an early form of breast cancer. Benefiting from early detection through a doctor ordered MRI, the cancer is not life threatening. Christina is following the recommended treatment of her doctors and will have a full recovery. No further statement will be issued at this time."
We're hoping for a full, speedy recovery.
It's been a rough few weeks for the actress.
Her on again-off again boyfriend died of a drug overdose last month.
Christina is scheduled to appear on the Stand Up to Cancer benefit scheduled to air simultaneously on CBS, NBC and ABC September the 5th.

You're an idiot. Cancer is caused when cells mutate, not because your blood PH level changes. BTW, "Doctor" Young has a PhD from an unaccredited distance-learning university, he's not a physician. According to the National Council Against Health Fraud, a 2005 MEDLINE search indicated that Young had not published any research in a single recognized scientific journals. Don't you think if someone had a "cure" for cancer, they'd do a little research to try and prove it? He also pleaded guilty to a misdemeanor charge of attempting to practice medicine without a license.
He's a moron and anyone listening to him or recommending him is an idiot.

What sad news. We do need a cure for breast cancer. I have begun to rethink all the money that goes into breast cancer research or maybe I've turned too cynical, but it seems to be, on at least some level, there is more money to be made Not curing a disease. I hope that came right. I hate thinking it!

I was diagnosed with breast cancer at 31 and again last month at 33. To hear that someone my age is going through the same thing I went through is so heartbreaking! If I can survive, so can Christina!
