This ad is such bullshit. Initially, the message was about American citizens abroad voting but, of course, in the last seconds, turned into a plug for Obama. Yeah, I want to be on the same side as these drug addicts losers with foreign accents. And Gwyneth is such a royal asshole, you can see the bitterness and hate toward this country in her delivery. It's one thing for a U.S. citizen to live abroad for work but it's much different when an American deliberately leaves the country because he/she hates it and then bad mouths it regularly from afar. Thanks for the great info, Perez. My partner and I will be voting from the UK. Most of the people who posted comments don't realize that the majority of Americans who CHOOSE to make their living overseas, among different cultures tend to have political views which lean left.

Some people choose to live outside the US for a couple of reasons. One, the money. Two, to make sure that your children are not closed-minded idiots. My daughter has lived in 5 countries and is the most open-minded and considerate teen I have EVER met. She has learned about different religions, ethnics, cultures, etc. She is also proud to be American. Her mom and dad have not been so 'proud' these past 8 years, because of this administration. If you live outside the US, you totally understand that this president has totally demolished any semblance of world unity. He has divided the US and now has created havoc in the world. Get a passport and travel. Go outside of your little red-neck world!

To Ed posting from the UK: Your post was not entirely accurate. Yes, most US expats living in Western Europe do tend to be left-leaning, but not so much in other parts of the world. I have been to many European countries, but have also travelled to the Middle East and Asia. Many US expats working there are conservative-leaning, as are there host countries.
By the by, many Americans do travel abroad. My destination of choice is Central and South America not Europe, which in your mind is probably not considered travel. Only Western European countries can open your mind, what tosh!

It's pretty entertaining to read these comments. One of the few that made any sense was the one that talked about "researching the issues and the candidates".
i am amazed at how little we all know about Obama. It's as though the less we know the better - because if we actually knew how he voted and "lead" in his public life, then he would stop being a savior to all of the haters and he would actually become a human being with a voting record. Nobody talks about him that way. The media is having such a love affair with him - that it usually backfires on them. They are setting themselves up to be blindsided -the second Obama has to really show up and talk about his stances in anything but a scripted speech perfect for sound bytes, then the weakness of the candidate will be hard to ignore. The haters will still ignore because they would vote for anyone who isn't a Republican (can you imagine anyone saying McCain is just like Bush and keeping a straight face?).
