Jermaine Dupri is speaking out about the shooting at his party in an Atlanta club this past weekend.

In a statement, Dupri said, “I’m sad this incident happened because it interrupted a beautiful and loving party. I’m happy none of my people or friends got hurt. And the party continues.”

Maybe it's time for some clubs to invest in metal detectors at the doors?

      I hate to say this but this isn't that unusual for predominately african american clubs. Why is that? Why the hell do some people feel it's necessary to carry guns to a club. "hey, I'm going out to dance and have fun I think I may kill someone."
      It's a fact and as you can see it has nothing to do with what financial class. Just acting wrong. I think it's disgusting.
