It's more serious than previously reported!
Bernie Mac has been in the hospital the last few days for pneumonia.
This weekend, his flack told the media that he was 'responding well to treatment' and would basically be in the clear in no time.
However, a source close to the family disputed the mouthpiece's all-is-well claims and revealed to the Chicago Sun Times that Bernie is in "very, very critical" condition.
Sad, sad and very scary!
We hope he's well soon.

I don't get it? What the fuck happened to him? It's not like he's in his 80's. This is the 2000's! Why is a young guy dying of pneumonia and plus-WHO THE FUCK GETS PNEUMONIA IN THE SUMMER? Weird.

Is this the same person that you tried to infer was in hospital for a drug related matter the other day Perez? That's right you attempted to infer that people were only rushed to hospital for drug or alcohol problems and that his illness was just a cover for this. What you failed to do was actually tell the truth and made up a heap of lies once again in order to make out to people that you had the 'true' inside information from your non existent exclusive contacts. What you failed to reveal was the fact that this poor man has suffered from sarcoidosis for the past 20 years. What is sarcoidosis Perez? Well I will give you the inside since you appear not to care about other people due to your over inflated ego and delusion that you are so famous that telling the truth is beyond you. The short version of sarcoidosis is it is an inflammation of the tissues that can affect any organ and can be quite painful. It may even lead to blindness if the tissues around the eye are affected. So Perez how about you start being a bit honest and tell people the truth when you blog instead of trying to defame a very sick man with stories of non existent drug related admissions to hospital.

The First poster, ////, to answer you, there are many reasons to get pneumonia, inhalation of food, latent infection, genetic predisposition, weakened immune system, compromised by chronic illness (Bernie has one) in fact, people can have what's called "walking pneumonia" for years, as they are treated with Rx and periodic trips to the hospital. I have these in the ER.

Perez you owe this man an apology for implying a drug related hospitalization. If you did some research ( I understand you don't do that ) you would have discovered Bernie Mac had this problem a few years ago. He actually had double Pnemonia the last time and almost died that time as well. He spoke about it in numerous interviews when he was promoting a movie he was in. I guess this is going to be reacurring problem in his life. I wish him well in his recovery.
Remember some time ago he disappeared for about a year. It was right around the time Oceans 13 came out becuase he didn't do any press with the guys. There not o sign of him anywhere and no talk of what happened. Many months later it was releived that he had "pneumonia" and passed out at home and was in a comma. And if you notice, since his last bout with "pneumonia" he is not the same. He speak is slow and slured. Who in the hell goes into a comma due to pheumonia. Now he has "pneumonia" again? How convenient. He had a stroke, why dont they just admit it alredy! Anyways, get well Mac Man.

Cameron Diaz's dad was in his fifties and died from pneumonia.. There are many reasons for pneumonia, couldn't we just be compassionate for once and wish the guy a swift recovery instead of trying to make him an addict or and HIV patient?
