Topless photos of The Veronicas' Jess Origliasso, revealed on the internets earlier this week, have caused quite a stir.

And now, the Australian media reports that the singer has hired a legal team to take action against an ex-lover over the sale of the scandalicious shots.

It also looks like the drama has brought Jess and her rumored lezbot girlfriend, MTV Oz VJ Ruby Rose, closer together.

Miz Rose has openly pledged her commitment to support the brunette beauty through this challenging period:

"Both Jess and Lisa have had an incredibly difficult week and without doubt I am talking to them and helping them out where I can. From the whole situation with the pictures to Lisa's break-up with Dean, I can't even imagine how they are coping with it all. What has happened with those images is obviously completely illegal and there are lawyers getting involved. It's just such an upsetting situation - there is a real tall poppy situation in Australia and both Jess and Lisa deserve more support, especially from their Australian fans."

However, the VJ continues to dodge questions about her romance with Jess.

An insider has said, "(they) will talk about it in their own time. At the moment they are being advised not to say anything because they're still getting their head around it themselves - it's all been pretty crazy. But if things keep progressing between them they won't have a problem discussing it further down the track."

It's not a secret anymore.
