Seems like there's a lot of shady in Mary Kate Olsen's world.
According to reports, the Trollsen's lawyer has repeatedly told U.S. government investigators that M.K.O. won't talk to them about Heath Ledger and the circumstances around his death….unless she gets immunity.
What does she need immunity from????
Remember, Mary Kate was the first person called after her masseuse discovered Ledger's body.
Everyone, BUT MK, connected to Ledger and his death have been interviewed by investigators.
An insider explained that the Trollsen would be the final witness they need to conclude their investigation into where Heath got his drugs and medicines.
Frustrated federal officials could obtain a grand-jury subpoena to compel MK to tell whatever she knows about the late Ledger's behaviour, his possible drug use and the events of that fateful morning.
Makes you wonder why she isn't more forthcoming!

Maybe her and Heath used the same drug dealer and she does not want to give out the dealers name in fear of getting killed. Case and point, they obvisiouly both hung out and used drugs. He overdosed, she didn't. There is not reason for her to give out names and take a chance of losing her life too. It is sad, but the fact is that Heath was an adult and he took the drugs willingly. No one is to blame for his death. It was an accident. I would'nt talk either.
I think we all should let poor Heath Ledger rest in peace. That's what I think. None of this talk is going to bring him back to his child and his family. And please remember that he does have a child and one day she will read things about her father. And to be honest whatever information she gets should come from her mother and her father's family. Not from the media. Please don't join the bandwagon of speculation. At the end of the day there is a little girl who will not grow up with her father and a family left without a son and a brother. Any good lawyer would tell their client to demand immunity before offering any information, innocent or not. Miranda's law is designed to PROTECT the innocent. It's pretty standard, actually. It doesn't mean she's hiding anything.

Mary Kate was in LA when Heath was in NYC in January. He had been in London working. Before that he went home to Australia for Christmas.
The last time he was in NYC was in November, for his daughter. There's pictures of them together. Then Michelle went to Sweden to work and took Matilda, and he was sad. He finished Dark Knight by then, in Chicago, and was going back and forth to London with the Terry Gilliam movie. He never drank when he was with Matilda ! He went to the film festival in Venice and I think Toronto in September.Hhe went to fashion week stuff with Moby, that's when he maybe saw MKO. In October/November. She probably hooked him up with some pills for his bad back and his anxiety and panic attacks. He had a history of getting panic attacks. It drove Michelle crazy. Plus he hardly ever could sleep. I hate Mary Kate. She gave him some bad drugs like this Oxycotin and he mixed it up with his own prescriptions and it killed him. She had drug overdoses before. Not talking to the police/ investigators without getting immunity is sage and legal practice. Check out boingboing.net 's video seminar of a Lawyer who speaks about this, and then turns the floor over to a COP who agrees with the lawyer COMPLETLY. Even if you are innocent, the police CAN and WILL use anything you say AGAINST you in a court of law. MK is smart on this one; especially if she has nothing to do with the tragedy. (even more so if she does)
She's prob not hiding anything. Most people like to stay out of matters that are not their business, which is prob how she feels about the situation.
Basically she has refused to talk in order to cover her own selfish ass. Now to guarantee that her ass is covered, she won't talk until the feds grant her immunity. You don't need immunity for something unless it's something you can be implicated in. I'm betting the farm that either she hooked him up with some extra pills that were sold on the black market, or she knows the dealer who sold the shit to him. Ledger died from a mixture of pills used to treat insomnia and anxiety, both of which he reportedly suffered from. These pills are well known to slow down breathing to a crawl. Pair that with the fact that Ledger has some respiratory problems. Pneumonia. His death was an accident but if he took pills that weren't prescribed to him, that means that someone could be liable in his death. Let us sit back and see what happens within the next few weeks.
